WA/OR Processed Pear Committee — Washington position nominations, Wenatchee WA
PROCESSED PEAR COMMITTEE, WASHINGTON POSITION NOMINATIONS
Nominations for positions on the Washington/Oregon Processed Pear Committee will take place during an industry public meeting at 1:15 p.m. as follows:
December 7, 2026 – Washington State Tree Fruit Assn. Annual Meeting, Wenatchee Convention Center, Wenatchee, WA
Washington Grower #2 position currently held by Shawn Phelps and Alternate Doug Gibson
Washington Handler #2 positions currently held by Conner Webb and Alternate Member Vacant
Positions to the Processed Pear Committee are each 2-year terms beginning July 1, 2027, and expiring June 30, 2029.
The Processed Pear Committee was established to administer federal marketing order provisions relating to the handling of pears for processing.
This meeting is open to all persons without regard to race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), religion, sex, disability, age, marital status, family/parental status, income derived from a public assistance program, political beliefs, reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity.
