DESCRIPTION:Nominations for positions on the Washington/Oregon Processed Pear Committee will take place during an industry public meeting as follows: \nApril 23\, 2026 – Processed Pear Committee Annual Meeting\, W.L. Hansen Building\, Yakima\, WA. \nWashington Handler No. 1 First Alternate position currently vacant. \nWashington Handler No. 2 Member and First Alternate positions both currently vacant. \nWashington/Oregon Processor No. 1 positions currently held by Member Steve Carlson and First Alternate vacant. \nWashington/Oregon Processor No. 3 positions currently held by Member Andy Russick and First Alternate Richard “Rich” Baldoz \nPositions on the Processed Pear Committee are each 2-year terms beginning July 1\, 2026\, and expiring June 30\, 2028. \nThe Processed Pear Committee was established to administer federal marketing order provisions relating to the handling of pears for processing. \nThis meeting is open to all persons without regard to race\, color\, national origin\, religion\, sex\, disability\, age\, marital status\, family/parental status\, income derived from a public assistance program\, political beliefs\, or for prior civil rights activity.
