DESCRIPTION:PROCESSED PEAR COMMITTEE\, WASHINGTON POSITION NOMINATIONS \nNominations for positions on the Washington/Oregon Processed Pear Committee will take place during an industry public meeting at 1:15 p.m. as follows:  \nDecember 7\, 2026 – Washington State Tree Fruit Association Annual Meeting\, Three Rivers Convention Center\, Kennewick\, WA  \nWashington Grower #2 position currently held by Shawn Phelps and Alternate Doug Gibson  \nWashington Handler #2 positions currently held by Conner Webb and Alternate Member Vacant  \nPositions to the Processed Pear Committee are each 2-year terms beginning July 1\, 2027\, and expiring June 30\, 2029.  \nThe Processed Pear Committee was established to administer federal marketing order provisions relating to the handling of pears for processing.  \nThis meeting is open to all persons without regard to race\, color\, national origin (including limited English proficiency)\, religion\, sex\, disability\, age\, marital status\, family/parental status\, income derived from a public assistance program\, political beliefs\, reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity.
