SUMMARY:Processed Pear Committee nominations
DESCRIPTION: Nominations for positions on the Washington/Oregon Processed Pear Committee will take place during the Columbia Gorge Fruit Growers Assn. annual grower/handler meeting on Dec. 10 at 10:00 a.m. via webinar – Oregon Handler positions currently held by Member (vacant) and First Alternate Jason Moore. \nPositions to the Processed Pear Committee are each 2-year terms beginning July 1\, 2021\, and expiring June 30\, 2023. The PPC encourages women\, minorities\, and the physically challenged\, who qualify to attend and participate in the election proceedings.  \nThe Processed Pear Committee was established to administer federal marketing order provisions relating to the handling of pears for processing.  \nPersons who are interested in listening in and need login instructions\, or if you have any questions concerning these nominations\, please contact the PPC at (509) 453-4837 at least four (4) business days before the meeting.
