  • Washington workers sue Tree Top for rest break violations

    Tree Top workers have filed a federal lawsuit against their company for allegedly not paying them for all their work-related activities. The class action case, filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington, accuses the processing cooperative’s supervisors of forcing workers to perform job duties during their rest and meal breaks and denying them overtime payment. Tree Top Inc., based in Selah, Washington, makes fruit juice, sauce, purees and other products at facilities in Selah, Prosser and Wenatchee, Washington, as well as locations in Oregon and California.
