The Washington Apple Commission has hired Toni Lynn Adams as a communications outreach coordinator.

The Washington Apple Commission has hired Toni Lynn Adams as a communications outreach coordinator, according to a news release.

Her responsibilities include communicating trade information to apple growers, developing website improvements, corresponding with market country representatives and publicizing the Washington Apple Commission’s mission of promoting Washington grown apples in international export markets through written and oral communication.

Adams received her bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication, with a minor in Agricultural Systems from Washington State University. She has worked in marketing for a tourism business in Seattle and served as an interim Microsoft Production Studios team member. She is familiar with the apple industry through her experience on her family’s apple orchard in the Yakima Valley.
