Danelle Trovato, export assistant with the Washington Apple Commission for the past five years, will transition into the position of export trade specialist. She will succeed Chris Scott who left the commission at the end of July to become general manager of NORPAC Industries, a frozen food processor in Quincy, Washington.

Todd Fryhover, commission president, said Trovato has an excellent overall understanding of the export program and will become more directly involved in promotion activities, working alongside International Marketing Director Rebecca Lyons.

The Apple Commission is in the process of hiring a new export assistant to handle administrative duties relating to the export program.
