The April 15 deadline approaches for viticulture students to apply for the Washington State Grape Society annual scholarship.

This year the group may award up to $1,000 to students who are engaged in fields of study related to growing grapes and enrolled in Washington State institutions.

The award is targeted toward graduate students but the announcement states undergraduates are also eligible. The group has awarded scholarships to 26 students over the past 30 years.
