Processed Pear Committee Board Nominations

 Nominations for positions on the Washington/Oregon Processed Pear Committee will take place during an industry public meeting in 2024/2025 as follows: 

Dec. 9, 2024 – Washington State Tree Fruit Assn. annual horticultural meeting at 1:15 p.m. Yakima Convention Center, Yakima, WA: 

Washington Grower #2 positions currently held by Member Shawn Phelps and First Alternate vacant 

Washington Handler #2 positions currently held by Member Brian Daines and First Alternate Amanda Adams

Positions to the Processed Pear Committee are each 2-year terms beginning July 1, 2025, and expiring June 30, 2027. 

The Processed Pear Committee was established to administer federal marketing order provisions relating to the handling of pears for processing. 

This meeting is open to all persons without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, or disability.
