WA 64 preharvest field tour, Prosser WA

Join Washington State University’s Kate Evans, Stefano Musacchi and Bernardita Sallato who will talk about the new apple variety WA 64 in a field tour.
We will start at the WSU Irrigated Agriculture Research and Extension Center’s Roza farm to look at a third-leaf demonstration block on four different rootstocks (Bud.9, G.969, G.890 and G.41) in various tree training systems. These will be contrasted with the 10th-leaf trees at the Allan Bros./WSU apple breeding program Phase 3 site.
