WA 64 Preharvest field tour, Rock Island WA
September 19 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm PDT
Join Washington State University’s Kate Evans, Stefano Musacchi and Bernardita Sallato who will talk about the new apple variety WA 64 in a field tour.
First stop is a third-leaf planting at the WSU Sunrise Orchard on four different rootstocks (Bud.9, G.969, G.890 and G.41). These will be contrasted with 10th-leaf trees at the apple breeding program’s Phase 3 site in Quincy.
