BX opens its new U.S. headquarters in Yakima

BX, a global company working in climate tech and agricultural innovation, recently announced the opening of its U.S. headquarters in Yakima, Washington, according to a news release. The expansion aims to strengthen BX’s global presence and positions the company in one of the world’s most significant agricultural regions.

 The Yakima headquarters enhances BX’s global operations, complementing its London base and positioning the company to better serve farmers across the U.S. BX’s environmental farm management software platform helps farmers use data to transform their sustainability efforts into financial rewards, promoting both profitability and environmental stewardship, according to the release.

Certis hires Reinot as president, future CEO

Certis Biologicals, which offers bio-based innovations that enhance crop productivity and quality, has named Eda Reinot as president, according to a news release. Reinot will soon transition to CEO, leading the legacy company into a new phase of growth. Certis Biologicals is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui & Co., Ltd. 

Reinot joins Certis Biologicals, having served in a vice president role at Indigo Ag, where she was responsible for research and development, regulatory, quality, bio-processing and international product development. She previously held positions at BASF and at Becker Underwood.

Fall Creek names Nselel commercial director

Fall Creek Farm & Nursery Inc., a blueberry nursery and genetics company serving the global produce industry, announced the appointment of Paul Nselel as leader of its global commercial organization, according to a news release. 

In his new role, Nselel will oversee Fall Creek’s commercialization efforts, ensuring value delivery to customers worldwide. He will work closely with regional executives across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia to serve Fall Creek’s customer base of blueberry growers and marketing organizations.
