The U.S. Apple Association announced in a news release that Matthew Hendrickson will join the organization in the newly created position of manager of association services.
Previously with Interel Group US, an association management consulting firm, Hendrickson brings to USApple his experience in association and nonprofit management, including member development, program administration, business operations and board governance.
“Matt’s strong background in the nonprofit landscape and data analysis will be a huge asset for USApple as we continue to strategically align the management of day-to-day operations with the growth and cultivation of our bigger picture programs and activities,” said Jim Bair, USApple president and CEO, in the news release. “We are excited for this new position at USApple as Matt’s multifaceted knowledge and experience will add value to the USApple membership.”
Hendrickson’s duties at USApple will include financial and office management, meeting logistics and program support — including Young Apple Leaders, Capitol Hill Day, Apples4Ed and the Market News Report — and coordination of the congressional visit and political action committees.
“I am thrilled to join the USApple team and expand my nonprofit work into the agriculture sector,” said Hendrickson. “I look forward to continuing my career in association management with an organization that represents the quintessential American staple — the apple.”
