Washington State University Tree Fruit Extension announced in a news release its annual Tree Fruit Day programs in North Central Washington. Co-sponsored by Northwest Cherries, Pear Bureau Northwest, NCW Fieldman’s Association and Okanogan Horticultural Association, these events provide the latest research-based information on horticulture, pest and disease management.
—Jan. 21: NCW Pear Day, Wenatchee Convention Center (with online option available).
—Jan. 22: NCW Stone Fruit Day, Wenatchee Convention Center (with online option available).
—Jan. 23: NCW Apple Day, Wenatchee Convention Center (with online option available).
—Jan. 23: Manejo de Frutales Spanish Session, Wenatchee Convention Center.
—Feb. 6: Okanogan Horticultural Association Annual Meeting, Okanogan County AgriPlex.
Washington State Department of Agriculture pesticide credits will be awarded for program attendance, with two to three credits available per session.
Preregistration is not required for in-person sessions. Online participation requires preregistration and a registration fee. Preregistration is required for the networking lunch.
