The Washington Growers League will hold its 2022 Labor Conference & Annual Meeting online Thursday, Feb. 3, according to a news release.
The agenda includes these topics:
—Labor law issues for growers in 2022.
—Offsetting overtime costs with legislative action.
—The employee housing decision.
—The decision process for farmworker housing construction.
—A review of current COVID-related laws and regulations for Washington state agriculture.
—Who is getting infected with COVID? What does the data show?
—What is the current COVID threat?
—Who is there to help us with COVID prevention?
—COVID best practices and policies for winter and spring 2022.
The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. The cost is $50 for WGL members or $90 for nonmembers.
