The Washington Invasive Species Council will host a webinar to introduce a draft of the state’s spotted lanternfly action plan. The council is seeking industry and stakeholder feedback that may be incorporated into the final version.
The webinar will also provide an overview of spotted lanternfly across the nation, highlight regional efforts from California, Oregon and British Columbia, and cover best practices from North Carolina’s response to this invasive pest. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A panel that includes regional representatives.
The Spotted Lanternfly Washington State Action Plan webinar is scheduled June 5 from 1 to 4 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time. Registration is required. For more information and the agenda, go to: invasivespecies.wa.gov/event/washington-state-spotted-lanternfly-state-action-plan-webinar.
