The Washington Apple Education Foundation added four new board members this year, the charity recently announced. 

Board members from across the tree fruit industry help to steer the charity, which annually awards over $1 million in scholarships and helps support student success.

New board members include: Brandon Flory, the chief financial officer of Gilbert Orchards and Sundquist Fruit; Greg Koch, chief executive officer of Olympic Fruit; Jenny Faletto, chief financial officer of Auvil Fruit; and Mac Riggan, vice president for sales and business development at Chelan Fresh.

“Each has demonstrated leadership within our industry and communities, and we look forward to the experience and perspective they will contribute as WAEF continues serving students and strengthening rural Washington,” said Tyler Price, WAEF board chair, in a statement.
