On July 24, Washington State University and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Wenatchee-based scientists will host the tree fruit industry for a field day at Sunrise Research Farm.
The event will feature stations on rootstocks, soil health, ground cover management, X-disease, WA 38, codling moth management and sunburn physiology.
The field day will be held from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at Sunrise Research Farm, located at 114 Sunrise Ct. in Rock Island. Registration is not required, but more information is available at: treefruit.wsu.edu/event/wsu-usda-sunrise-research-farm-field-day/.
