Washington State Fruit Commission board meeting
The Washington State Fruit Commission has scheduled a board of directors meeting on May 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Holiday Inn on the River, 802 George Washington Way, Richland, Washington.
The Five-State Cherry Commission meeting will follow.
President B.J. Thurlby will report on commission business, Managing Editor Shannon Dininny will report on Good Fruit Grower projects and financial reports will be presented by Treasurer Tim Welch. A brief review of domestic and foreign market promotions will also be presented.
Industry reports will include Pacific Northwest Canned Pear Service, Washington- Oregon Canning Pear Association, Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission, Northwest Horticultural Council, Northwest Fruit Exporters and Washington State Tree Fruit Association.
