The Washington State Fruit Commission has scheduled a board of directors meeting for Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, from 11 a.m. to approximately 2:45 p.m., at the Washington Apple Commission, 2900 Euclid Ave., in Wenatchee.

Manager Eric Patrick will report on commission business and operations. Treasurer Tim Welch will present financial reports, and Managing Editor Shannon Dininny will report on operations for Good Fruit Grower, which is administered by the WSFC. A brief review of domestic and foreign market promotions will also be presented.

The meeting will include updates from the Pacific Northwest Canned Pear Service, Northwest Horticultural Council, Northwest Fruit Exporters and the Washington Oregon Canning Pear Association.
