Processed Pear Committee Washington/Oregon position nominations
Nominations for positions on the Washington/Oregon Processed Pear Committee will take place during an industry public meeting as follows:
April 23, 2026 – Processed Pear Committee Annual Meeting, W.L. Hansen Building, Yakima, WA.
Washington Handler No. 1 First Alternate position currently vacant.
Washington Handler No. 2 Member and First Alternate positions both currently vacant.
Washington/Oregon Processor No. 1 positions currently held by Member Steve Carlson and First Alternate vacant.
Washington/Oregon Processor No. 3 positions currently held by Member Andy Russick and First Alternate Richard “Rich” Baldoz
Positions on the Processed Pear Committee are each 2-year terms beginning July 1, 2026, and expiring June 30, 2028.
The Processed Pear Committee was established to administer federal marketing order provisions relating to the handling of pears for processing.
